It would be wise to look into actively healing the gut with Alpha Lipoic Acid, a powerful antioxidant which is fat and water soluble. This has been reported to restore the intestines after removing the causes for Leaky Gut. It can be slightly irritating to the intestinal tract, so should be taken with meals.
Simple things like drinking a wee bit of water before meals will increase the integrity of the mucosal lining of the intestines. I would take steps to insure there is no other interference, like Candida infestation. Might want to try a little Silver Colloid or Undecylenic Acid or Caprylic Acid, the easiest to find, to whack back any Candida.
