I wanted to share with you some things I have learned.
My son (first born) was intolerant of store bought milk, I stopped drinking it when he was 4 months old (I was nursing him) and it made a huge difference in his colic. With my second, a girl, I didn't drink milk hoping to prevent the colic of my son. Her poor teeth were horrible, her first cavity was at 12 months old, but she didn't have the colic that my son did. I didn't get it filled and just watched it to see if it caused any problems. She still had it at 4 1/2 yo, along with 4 others. We didn't drink milk as my son had asthma and it made my daughter horribly constipated, and made my throat mucusy. I read about raw milk and started feeding them raw milk, and none of us had a problem with it. I also started giving my kids cod liver oil and organic pasturefed butter. When my daughters tooth fell out at 6 yo, there was no sign of the cavity! Her other teeth are still healing, but they never cause her pain. I would do something if they did.
Cavities can be healed! Weston A Price was a dentist in around the 1920s who studied what 'primitive' cultures ate and their teeth. He came back the the US and started curing cavities with diet. In his book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration" There are several pictures and x-rays of healed teeth.
The main site is
also has lots of information.
I tried to find the pictures in his book online, this is the closest I can find, but I know I have seen them.
Here is information about milk, calcium, phosphatase and absorption
Also, prior to getting pregnant with my third child I was starting to eat a more traditional diet and so did she as she grew (she is 4 1/2). She is in excellent health, full face, firm strong sturdy body, flat belly, rarely sick and when she is it is minimal compared to her siblings.
Hope this helps you.
