I am a bible preacher, so when I got diabetes, I resorted to what I knew, the Bible. I consider the Bible the greatest book ever, full of wisdom, so I belive what God says about nutrition, I do not doubt his wisdom.
The first thing I dis was to put away the drugs my doctor gave me, they were glyburide and metformin.
I then proceeded to cut out all Sugar
from my diet, cutting Sugar
from my diet was my Second step, then I begun to learn more about Diabetes T2.
I went to the Bible and begun researching what God had to say about nutrition in Leviticus an Deuteronomuy and change my diet accordingly, this meant I gave up pork and shellfish.
I then saw in the Bible that Jesus walked everywhere he went, and that most people in the Bible walked everywhere they went so I took up walking.
I also cut out most refined foods from my diet and have gone back to a natural food diet, that resembles a biblical based diet.
I am still researching the Bible, and I keep on finding great insights aobut nutrition in there.
I check my blood glucose every morning to see how I am doing and making adjustments.
my current A1C is 4.6
