well, taste is quite subjective. and it depends on what is in someones system at the time they ingest it.

i am a smoker and when i take silver and then soke, i can taste a taste in my mouth immediately, no matter how fine the cs is. i figure it is the reaction of the nitrates in the smoke and the silver in the tissue by the taste buds. i dont ingest cs any more these days, but i avoided smoking after taking cs after that because i think i was creating minute amounts of silver nitriate. i am sure there are other reactions that can take place depending on what is present in the system.

remember too, there are some people who have a genetic predisposition for tasting certain substances and others cant. i forget what the stuff was in school that we experimented with, but i know i was a non-taster and others made the most awful faces.
