I thought the same thing.
Actually my hunger goes about 75-80% away, but still have an empty feeling, close to like hunger. Never have had to force myself to drink juice, but drink it to stave off that close to hunger like feeling.

I AM mixing in 'almost all water' days with my juice feasting. On those days, I get a bit weak, but lose 2 lbs instead of the 1 lb a day with the juice.

I'd like to hear from others too...you mean you have NO hunger? Nada?

(maybe Chunklet is thinking we only do FRUIT juice...most of my juice is vegatable, so no Sugar there...i always add an apple and carrot, so that adds some sugar, but little.)

I am doing a juice feast right now----I teach weight lifting group ex classes, I teach spinning classes. I am training for a marathon///yes, while festing.
i drink 16-20 cups of undiluted juice a day.
i am on day 17 NOT HUNGRY - after day 3-5 hunger does go away, even with juice.

in the past I did a water/juice fast

juice in the morning
water at work
juice at night
worked well - I lost 12 pounds in 10 days


this time I have only lost 8 pounds in 17 - I am supplementing as well

No, it doesn't...however, I'm not well-versed in juice fasting, and I believe that even Jack LaLanne IS into it...and he's very healthy and elderly!

So, perhaps you could check into what he does.

You don't enter ketosis, but from what I hear, you DO get enough calories and nutrition to sustain you.

Research it first, I don't have enough knowledge on it.

It depends of what you juice. If you juice a lot of fruits, then you will not go into ketosis. Anything over 50-70g of carbs a day will be enough to prevent ketosis.

If you juice only vegetables (especially greens) then your body will have to generate ketones from the low carbs.
