Hi,
With pineapple, some claim it is the aromatic acids.
There are claims that some people are allergic to these acids.
I too love pineapple, but of course, I love
every kind of food :) Aromatic acids are also in berries
and the peels of some fruits like oranges. I'm going to
avoid pineapple for the most part. I have talked to cancer
specialists and they say it's not the one piece of cake
or pineapple that will kill you. Will I go and eat a whole
pineapple like I used to? Probably not, there are so many
delicious meals that exclude all of the stuff that I like to eat.
I just haven't had them yet :) But people keep telling that they exist.
I have a recipe book that a friend Marylin loaned me. So many tasty sounding
meals in there. I'm still at the stage where any recipe looks like a 4th grade
math problem. "Jane had two apples, Bill ate one, John gave her 14".
I'm trusty with a fork and that's about it :)
I've also got the eating part down pretty good :)
