I think it was all of the things that I did worked together to lower it. The Liver Flushes
really helped. But I think some of the other factors helped too.
One of the things that I'm convinced really helped was food enzymes - If you ask for that at a health food store they will know what you want... there are a few different types. Bromelain and ginger help digestion too.... If food does not digest properly it makes little tears in our intestines, and our body makes cholesterol to make little band-aids for the tears. If we can reduce the tearing, we will reduce the amount of cholesterol we make.
I was using Vit. E 400 units a day and taking Vit. C - 1000 mg a day as I have heard these will lower cholesterol too.
Oh yes, and I eat oatmeal everyday... I try to eat 35 grams of fiber daily... I think that helps too.
When I lost about 25 pounds, my doctor said that would reduce it too.
