My coworkers have jokingly complained over the last year about how hard it has been to read my handwriting. I have tried new pens, printing instead of writing, slowing way down and concentrating, but my writing was always a mess - stuff crossed out, letters written over other letters because I wrote the wrong thing, a random mix of cursive and printing, total chaos.
I used to receive compliments on my penmanship years ago, but it had declined to a point where I thought nothing could be done. My hand would not do what my brain was telling it to do, and my brain was pretty confused to begin with.
About a week ago, after a week on iodine, I noticed that my writing was clear and readable again, without any extra effort to improve it. I had previously spent so much energy trying to control my hand, and the garbled result had become a source of shame. Now, I think of what I want to write, my hand writes it, and I'm not scratching out a bunch of mistakes or correcting unreadable half letters. Loops were especially bad, either too large or too small. Now they are consistent in size, not just reaadable, but almost pretty again.
is good stuff.
