Well plants soil and people are similar in that they require a balance in pH that is supplied by alkaline minerals and acidic sources to supply the electro/magnetic energy they need to prosper!
In my mix of nutrients I supply to the garden beside the alkaline mineral I use the acid sources found in such things as good composted manures or fish emulsion to create a balanced pH! This may also neutralize any toxic metals like aluminum or lead!
Trapper are you saying aluminum and lead come from plastic/rubber garden hoses or the water supply!
I know lead water mains are few and far inbetween these days and where would the source of alumnum come from? I know very little copper is leached from some water supply source but copper is critical in healhy soil!
