Do you do the salt loading at the same time as
you take
Iodine
or later? If later how much
later?
Have water with chlorine should one purchase
water without to take the
Iodine
with?
Looked at filters for the house must say
they are out of the budget at present.
Thank you
Teacup

Separate, a crappy Britta would do if you don't have fluoride in the water. Optionally you could ozonate or boil your water to remove the chlorine.

Newport,
Thank you will try do the boil as do have fluoride.
Have been doing the salt loading 1/2 hour later
and was not sure if that was correct or not.
Again thank you for the help.

I hope that was a typo?
If you do have fluoride then RO or distilling is the only way to get rid of that crap.

Distilling looks to be the best way to go for now.
Do not know where that photo came
from have to find a way to get rid
of it.

Only distillation or reverse osmosis will do.

They're good but noisy. Its O.k. if you have a back porch to put it on or something.

Sometimes you can find them on ebay and pay less.
I got mine for $100 and love it, been using it three years and it's good as new.
I make 1-2 gallons almost every day.
