I changed regular dentists 2 times these past 2 months. And during my preliminary dental check sessions with them, both dentists asked what is my occupation. It never occured to me then, but only now I realized that the reason they do that is may be to check or gauge how deep is my pocket. If they think that it's deep, then they suggest all kinds of maybe unnecessay and expensive operation like crown and root canals.

I can't think of any reason why they need to know those info. If I'm right, guys better be careful. Anybody out there who have the same experience and other thought?
