I've never posted before but I've been reading along for a little while now. I wanted to thank everybody for all the wonderful information!
I was wondering: has anyone ever linked a lack of vitamin D to Candida? My blood tests show I have a serious lack of it and I know a deficiency of vitamin D causes a whole host of other problems. I read that "liver damage can impair your body's ability to activate circulating vitamin D." So I thought maybe the Candida has simply compromised my liver. (?)
(Just FYI, I've had moderate Candida symptoms for the last year or so. And also had Candida about 4 years ago and got rid of it. Unfortunately it came back! Ugh. It came back right around the time my dad died and there was quite a lot of other stress in my family as well.)
