I've never seen that commercial.
I just started getting unemployment. they give you a debit card and put the money in it each week, unless you opt for direct deposit in your own checking account. They do not issue checks anymore. The debit card is from chase and you can go to a chase branch and withdraw the money. However, you are only allowed to make a withdrawal two times a (week?), the next time you are charged a $5.00 fee. This is a fee for withdrawing your own money and the debit card is issued by Chase, there is no choice in the matter.
