Re: odour coming from sebum in nose pores, please HELP

You mentioned thyroid problem.  The thyroid is major in controlling the poisons throughout the body.  You are likely very deficient in iodine.  Some organs use iodine and others use iodide.  This combo is in Lugol's iodine solution (iodine/potassium iodide).   I put a few links here about iodine and candida.  Check them out.  Your thyroid needs iodine to do its work.  Aloe Vera juice is also very good at killing candida.  You'll need a high daily dose of Lugol's to clear the post nasal drip.  And it would be a good idea to take zinc picolinate too.  It is very involved in the immune system and hormone system.  I had a long standing throat infection this past summer.  Oregano oil could not cure it, but 3 days after starting zinc picolinate my cough and phlegm cleared up.

If you can afford a saliva test for your adrenals, do it. or compounding pharmacies have the Adrenal Stress Index kit.  You send your saliva samples to the lab (about $140) and they test your cortisol/dhea/insulin for a full day, morninging, noon, 5pm and 11pm.  This tells you when you are too low in cortisol and need a supplement:  either whole licorice root or Cortef (prescription bio-identical cortisol).  The lab report you get back is extensively detailed with recommendations on supplements and dosages you will need to recover from adrenal fatigue.  I have been taking Cortef for one year and it really helps me to deal with stress and gives my adrenals a much needed rest.  A few months ago my doc added dessicated thyroid which gives me a bit more energy.  The Lugol's has really helped my body resist infections.  I take 4 drops a day, occasionally 8.  Started with 2.

The zinc and iodine alone might clear your odour.  If they don't, try one of the mushroom extracts.
