Re: Well water - should I drink it?

First, go here

http://www.epa.gov/safewater/labs/index.html

and find a state certified drinking water testing lab in your area. Then you'll KNOW what's in your water and can begin to attempt to remove it. As for water to drink...reverse osmosis is still the best you're going to get, at least out of a tap. RO removes just about everything. I've been using it for over 10 years. My dad, 74 years young, has been using it for over 20 years. If you're worried about the loss of minerals, take supplements, or simply make sure your diet is good. If you don't like the taste of the water without minerals, a powder mineral supplement can be added in very small amounts to make it more palatable.
