When the hida scan was done on my gallbladder, it was only functioning at 5% capacity. There were no stones in it. If I knew then what I know now, I'm sure the problem was the flukes and liver stones plugging up the bile ducts, there was no bile going into the gall bladder.
It wasn't long before I found out that the gall bladder surgery wasn't going to be the answer to my liver problems like I had thought it would be. Liver enzymes remained elevated, the liver was still hurting, the congestion only worstened. The problem wasn't the gall bladder, it was the parasites and stones in the liver, which is still taking ongoing work to try to get to the point of being healthy and fully functioning.
I know that if I had not found out about the fluke infestation, and other parasites, and hadn't discovered Liver Flushing for myself, that my health would have continued to be jeoporadized. I got no answers from medical Dr's, I had to start doing it for myself, and seeing all this first hand to know what was the true cause. I've got a long ways to go yet.
