I have similar problem. I broke my first fast with a cake and got so sick that I would never do that again. Now although I'm still not very good at breaking a fast, I find that I don't eat as much. I get fuller sooner. Too rich, sugary food makes me nauseous. I crave mostly fruits and vegetables. Most of all, I can't even stand the smell of fast food anymore. Being a former fast food addict, that is the most precious gift fasting has ever done for me. So I focus on the positive changes, and work on the improvement a day at a time.
