our only mantra: "just leave us alone."

This mantra deserves it's own reply :)

"Our only mantra still remains to this day: just leave us alone."

This is a great mantra for those at the education front, but it says so much that the same sentiment should hold for other people, any people - parents and not, carrying on their own battles at other fronts as well.


PS - I did not mean to portray home schooling as an undesirable, unattainable reality easy to dismiss. I meant portray how it is the U.S.G. makes it easy for the average person to view the situation this way. That wonderful real life story you related is the kind that gives me reason to pause, wonder and maybe even hope. That is a great example of how to persevere despite or inspite of the system. Tweet
