Giving up coffee

I had to give up coffee years ago because of high BP. I sure did miss it. I missed the taste, the smell, and the kick. It was pretty hard to fully wake in the morning for a long time.

A few months ago I started the Iodine supplementation. I discovered that when I take it first thing in the morning, within about 2 minutes I'm wide awake, alert, and ready to go. To me it's a great substitute for coffee, the kick-pick-me up part anyway. If I'm having a hard time waking up in the am, I can keep it at my bedside and drink it before I even get out of bed, which prevents me from laying back down and going back to sleep and then losing a bunch of time in the morning.

About every 3 months or so I will have a cup of coffee, and it's really a treat, but I don't need to drink it all the time anymore, and that one occassional cup doesn't make me want more any time soon. In fact, when I quit drinking it, I quit cold turkey and didn't suffer any headaches or anything, but that's just me-I seldom get headaches for any reason.

And when I'm around coffee, I just breath it in, and that is now very satisfying, I don't need to drink it. I have a friend who loves the smell of coffee but hates the taste, so she will just grab someone's coffee and breath it in. I can do that too now.

And yes, oil pulling will help with bad breath. I only do it once a day, in the morning while I shower and put on make-up, but you can do it more often than this is you want to. I sometimes forget so I probably do it 5 days a week. I use the VCO and noticed that my teeth are whiter with this, but am also using sesame seed oil now too.

Giving up milk, meats, sugars, white flour will also help. When I went to an all raw food diet, my breath turned totally sweet all the time, even in the am. I'm now about 80% raw and still have good breath, although not as good as when 100% raw. I believe the Iodine will also help with the breath. In fact, I just think that detoxing in general will help with the breath and a whole bunch of other things.

And, just keep reading for all kinds of wonderful detoxing protocols, use the ones that you like the best to begin with, and go from there and you will see amazing things happen for yourself and your husband. It's a grand journey, and fun to boot.
