As you probably know, the fast should be broken on broths as well as vegetable and fruit juices. The rule of thumb is that breaking the fast should take about half the duration of the fast itself. After the broths and juices, then easy-to-digest foods like salads for at least a day or two.
Anybody that breaks a fast with a meal (I'm not saying this is you but I read a lot of crazy stuff around here, like fasting up until thanksgiving or christmas and then having a holiday meal to break the fast!!??) is going probably going to see that meal come out the other end undigested.
