Re: Ulcerative Colitis and MMS

"I have ordered MMS and am curious to know how it will work with my diarrhea and Ulcerative Colitis. Currently I have to take 3 imodium per day to control it along with Asacol and 7.5mg prednisone. Once I start mms, I am not sure about increasing imodium.
Any one has any suggestion?"

Thses are just suggestions, but the first thing I would do is forget the Prednisone, and Asacol which I understand is just a milder form of Prednisone.  They do nothing for the UC, but treat the symptoms that you are having by suppressing the immune system. They are corticosteroids. It comes down to being a vicious circle. UC, then more medications, then another bout of UC.

You might not think so now, but They are worse than the UC which is an inflammation that the immune system can't cope with.
