Thanks for posting that because we should celebrate Christ's birth EVERY day. I am trying to write some kind of petition to have Santa Claus aka Kris Kringle be observed on Dec. 31/Jan.1. This when all the Christmas cards and other material that observe "Happy Holiday" should be celebrated by those who do not believe in Jesus Christ. After all, since neither was born on Dec. 25, why not have different days for both?
Christians giving gifts should do that on the day of Jesus's celebrated birth. If the kids don't get what they want, they get a second chance to ask Santa Claus with stuff that is 50% to 75% discounted after Christmas. Those who want to still observe Santa Claus and don't believe in God on Christmas eve can pay the full price for Christmas merchandise.
Maybe if the professing Christians have some spine left, maybe with God's help we can make "Merry Christmas" and "Happy Holidays" seperate days for next season if the Lord should tarry!!
Alikat, may you have a blessed and properous New Year serving the Lord this year.
