Re: prostate cancer

Hi Trapper, In Tibetan Medicine the seat of wind/motility is in the hips, where the reproductive organs reside. I don't know much about prostate disorders but in general at least part of the symptoms which are presented are a swelling of the gland by tumor
or simply the mass of the gland itself, swelling. A good place to begin would be to
attempt and resolve a wind disorder. An attempt should be made to Limit wind aggravating diet and behavior and increase urinary flow. Prostate disorders are a symptom of other issues going on with an individual's energy and the kidney's which themselves are organs associated with wind because of the circulatory and eliminating aspect of their function. Warmth is very helpful for wind disorders. In terms of diet, pork and chicken are wind aggravator's while beef is not. He should definitely stay away from all pork and chicken and use therapeutic doses of cayenne and take steam baths or sauna's
