Paradophilus will not give you sufficient probiotics. It does not work that way. It uses the byproducts of the probiotics instead. This gives it the advantage to bring about the same results as would probiotics; but stronger. If your goal is to populate the intestines with friendly bacteria, it would be best to just get probiotic supplements. I usually rotate mine between various brands. My feeling is that you don't need too much more bacteria than what you get from foods. If you don't have Candida, fermented products, like sour kraut are great.
