I agree with you. Was talking to a realtor one day when he drove me around to show me properties. He said he
1) Avoids sunshine like the plague (I get naked in the sunshine)
2) Eats a low fat "heart healthy" diet (I eat saturated fats daily)
3) Avoids raw egg like the plague (I eat them any time)
At that time I was eating a raw egg or two every morning in a smoothie with a banana and yogurt. I've eaten hundreds, if not thousands of raw eggs and never seemed to get sick from them. They say 1 in 30,000 eggs is bad, and if you smell each one before eating it, good chance you'll notice it's bad.
I eat very lightly broiled ground grass fed beef that's about 70% raw. I've eaten raw salmon that sits in RealSalt and lemon juice for 2 days. The salt and citric acid kills any microbes.
I know what you mean about chemicals. I think many people are harming themselves with that toxic garbage.
