I have a hard time with the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) too sometimes. Although, I don't find that it hurts my stomach as much as a well-steeped Smooth Move. What I usually do, is warm up my water for about 10 seconds in the microwave, and then just try to down it the way you did back in college when you were taking shots..haha! I sort of try my hardest to mentally focus, and then "open up my throat" so I taste as little as possible. But if you HAVE to take smooth move in the morning, then it's better than nothing. I'm going to try the SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) as advised below.
As for the chocolate flavor--have you ever tried it before? This is personal opinion, but I think it's horrid. The taste never makes sense to me either, when I'm on the cleanse. I think I can tolerate it much more afterward...I guess chocolate mixed with the taste of licorice is not that appealing to me. But yes, you are free to use it I believe, as I know many who have.
