I had 'exercise-related asthma' a few years back and the doctors gave me albutrol inhalers, etc. I wonder now if it was candida? I did a lot of diflukan and other Antibiotics when I was young. These days, I don't exercise much and don't seem to have a problem, but periodically hear a little 'wheezing' if I do. Nobody in either side of my family has ever had asthma.
I had no idea that you could get candida in your lungs! Mold, sure...bacteria, absolutely. But until I got on this site, I had no idea that candida could be anywhere else but a woman's vagina. I used to wonder if men could get it from having sex with women who have yeast infections. I worry that I may give my nasty little yeasties to my husband and this is one of many reasons I haven't been all that excited about sex lately (not to mention the raw feeling I have after scrubbing off all the candida I can reach in the bathtub.)
