We we got our last DDL tests done, it was around $35 but you had to get a (damn)doctor's prescription.
I've heard that there's a company online that will "act" as the (damn) doctor, so that you don't have to pay for an office visit or spend the time getting off work, etc., and that used to be around $70. You can probably google that, if it still exists.
One thing you should understand....if the test comes back with NO MERCURY shown, but with the rest of the minerals all out of whack, you have mercury toxicity.
If it comes back with LARGE MERCURY EXPOSURE, you have so much mercury toxicity, that it's stopped it's usual "hiding" in organs, joints, lipid tissue, ect, and is reaching out to the hair.
Mercury HIDES for all tests, so the hair MINERALS are what gives it away for most people.
But like I said before, if you've had amalgams, you have mercury. If you eat fish, or have gotten vaccines, you have mercury. If you've even used EYEDROPS, you've had mercury.
Whether or not you can excrete it normally, is the $64,000 question. Most people can, but if you're plagued by a host of mercury-related diseases, getting your Amalgam fillings out is the obvious "Job #1"
If you're like us, removing all new exposure to mercury and chelating will help a great deal.
In other words, the only reason for doing a mercury test is if you're trying to prove mercury toxicity to someone ELSE. If you have it yourself, just start treating for it!
