If it has been that long since you took the hiv test, I would encourage you to go somewhere to get an anonymous retest. Forget about getting your lab work redone. Viral load doesn't measure anything. Negative people have "viral loads" so obviously the test can't even be specific for hiv. Make a road-trip to somewhere in the country where they don't have huge numbers of hiv positives like Kentucky or Tennessee. Do not tell them about your sexual history (if you are gay) or having ever tested positive and make sure they are using the Western Blot test and not Elisa (not because Western Blot is accurate but because it's a lot less likely to come out positive). I'd say there's a good chance that you won't even come up positive again. HIV tests are a load of crap to begin with.
