Mia, one of the very safest "electro-therapies" I've heard of, simply involves grounding your body to actual earth-ground, while you sleep.
I rolled my eyes when I first heard about it, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it makes. (No, I haven't tried it yet. I try not to try everything at once, so that I can distinguish differences easier)
If you age and deteriorate by the action of free-radical electrons, then providing an ACTUAL current path to EARTH GROUND or zero-potential, would logically drain free electrons out of your body to earth.
So by simply using an electrode attached to your body, and running a wire to earth ground (a copper stake outside or metal water supply pipe inside) you'd create a very small electrical potential between yourself and the earth, and that tiny current would drain off your free electrons.
Sound plausible? Well, if you think about how we're almost ALWAYS insulated from earth ground (by shoes, flooring, etc.) then you can see why it may be a solution to a problem we didn't REALIZE that we had created by modern living. (i.e. free radical damage)
Just remember: Don't hook your body wire up to anything resembling a lightning rod, if you connect it outside! :)
