yes, you can absolutely have anxiety with low cortisol. What that is is your body's response to not being able to meet your physical needs of cortisol output. I had the same thing. For months I couldn't figure out why I felt like I had constant feelings of adrenaline and anxiety. Turns out, I was burnt out and not producing enough cortisol. Had I known this I would have been able to figure out what was wrong way earlier and been able to get healing, but instead I ended up in a deeper hole. Anyway, thats your body struggling and falling short where it normally would produce cortisol. good luck, d
