If you find you are unable to handle the beet juice, etc. recommended by demi, then go on The Master Cleanse for a week to 10 days (since you can handle water and lemon juice) and give your body a rest. If possible, I would also drink a dose of Epsom Salts or take magnesium citrate as either will help dilate the bile ducts so hopefully whatever is stuck can pass. But I would definitely give your poor digestive system a complete rest! When you start eating again, start with only fresh fruit for 2-3 days, then add vegetables or cream of wheat. Avoid any fats or oils. Avoid meats or dairy. Stick with simple, well-cooked vegetables and fresh fruits, absolutely not added fats or oils-not even in cooking, for a couple of weeks. Continue to take the magnesium as mag citrate or Epsom Salts . That way you should be able to get stuff out without a full liver flush. Consider doing a coffee enema, but be sure and use the Epsom Salts 1-2 hours before doing the coffee enema so the bile ducts are open. Once you can tolerate eating well-cooked vegetables without any oils/fats, I would also start taking burdock root (an herb specific for the liver) either as a tea or in capsules. Burdock root is very healing for the liver. It is an alterative herb (provides the body with the building blocks. It specifically provides nutritional support for the liver and stimulates the liver to work better, yet it is very mild and gentle. Take it on an empty stomach so the liver can just interact with the herb rather than dividing its attention between the herb and digestion.
