What about flax seeds? They're cheaper.

- Does anyone know if there's enough oil in flax seeds to substitute for straight flax oil? I usually soak my flax seeds in water, then drain and let set a day or two in a jar. Soaked seeds are supposed to be best, if not sprouted. I know flax seeds can sprout in the frij in a week or so.
- My brother suffered kidney failure last month and is on dialysis 3 times a week. I hope to find a way to heal his kidneys. I hope the flax might do it.
- Carlson's and Blue Ice fish oil or cod liver oil are also recommended as good sources of omega-3 fats. Does anyone know if they're also good for the kidneys? Other brands of fish oil are generally not recommended, because they heavy metals and plastic contaminants are not removed from them.
- Thanks for any info.
