I had mine removed on 2/7/07. I started bleeding on 2/9 (not sure if it was a period or not) and then my next period didnt start until 3/18 which was 37 days ! After that I went back to normal 28 days. We used condoms during that time frame. I hope that makes you feel a bit better.
