Re: VCO brands
I think just about all of them would be okay
for cooking, although I did find that my jar
of Spectrum VCO did go rancid in an extraordinary
short amount of time. It could have been the heat
of last summer too, but I then used it to massage
the dog as it was not good for cooking or eating
for me. I would use it again, but keeping the
time factor in mind. I like the Tropical Source
Coconut Oils but have used a couple of others
which are also good. Most likely, it is using
it up which is most important. I have a years
worth of oil right now, so by summer's end I
may be able to give more feedback on the brand
I am using now. I appreciate your feedback on
Nutiva as I have been wanting to try that brand
out. Mostly though, for medicinal use, I like
the Extra Virgin, organic oil.
best wishes,
