Re: Does anybody know?

Thanks Archus for the website.

About nuts- I read about soy peanut and cashew are very toxic or have more pesticides.

What are your thoughts on those nuts? I heard raw almonds were going to be taken off the market?

I tried to find raw olives and that is probably impossible at least living far from a metropolitan city.

You mentioned your daughter was depressed. There is a lifestyle center run by Dr. Needley. It is based on holistic health principles and I think he also sells cds as well. Saw it somewhere. His clinic is in Nebraska or OK. The lifestyle centers around vegetarian principles and Depression recovery. There are other lifestyle centers they center on hypertension obesity and general health through vegetarian means. Some have their religious philosophical approach, but the important point is to take the learning lessons on healthy lifestyle and recovery from or prevention of health issues. Just a thought. I was going to go there but decided I needed more than 10 days and being stubborn as a mule tried a find a path for myself.

I also feel Water Fasting has helped me with Depression as well as other issues that needs to be guided. But if you are in NYC or close Dr. Fuhrman is in new jersey and Dr. Bass in NYC or thereabouts. Something to think about it if the Depression is severe..

Water fasting is my stepping stone into the raw world. I hope I can do it. I was looking at recipes and thinking I have to make nut butters and nut milk and everything else and the difference in menu planning and balancing.

Or I could just simply eat an avocado mixed with tomato and say viola dinner is done... I doubt my husband would be happy with that selection. haha

I don't know if not discussing is such a good thing but everyone has their own style. Sometimes you have to agree to disagree because you are growing in different ways.

I told my husband, if it is healthy and affordable within reason, then there is no reason for me not to do it. If he wants certain foods in the house and that is important to him, I just say okay as long as you know the health issues assorted with it.

Anyway, I plan to start using the principles of food combining. That should be an interesting as well.

take care.
