You might want to recheck with your doctor and get the biopsy done. It is better to be safe then deal with the consequences later if it is something worst. Eczema is characterized by an patchy inflammed area, usually discolored (red), and it itches, it may ooze or weep, and it is also very dry, it is also found in the area of the body where there is mostly heat. If you just have that one patch that does not go away then your best bet is to get a professional advice.
