I am not into the religious aspect but I found a lot of other good information there to get me started. I am currently in day four of a juice-fast and, as I hoped, my hunger has mostly left me now. I feel good, a little empty, moving a little slower but not at all weak. When I take one of my 2-4 servings of juice I feel very satisfied. You have to be willing to make the juice, which is an effort, but as you are not doing any other cooking, it's not too bad. Drink a lot of water too and take something like senna tea to keep things moving. Once you get rolling it is almost a pound a day. You will still have enough energy to do exercise like brisk walking, and you will feel very positive and healthy. It is a very good thing to rest your digestive system. I wanted to add that taking in fiber with your juice would be counterproductive because it would keep your digestive system working and make you feel hungry. It is better to let it rest. It really feels like your insides are very still, like asleep. If you have digestive issues like I do, bloating, gas, etc., it feels very good indeed.
