I did what Johnny is describing: putting a couple of Lugol's in my pet's water. They don't seem to mind the taste, in fact, I almost think they are drinking more.

My little dog gets pink and itchy skin sometimes, I have started the Iodine in the water, and putting a little flaxseed in the food. I did give him too much one day and he and I both had to pay, meaning I had a mess to clean up. It is good for promoting BMs!

He used to need cortisone shots maybe once every summer for the skin allergy, but we will see if he does not need it this time.
