Since you said you are irregular. This most definitely could be a case where your body is trying to slough excess lining ( as one gyn MD told me), also the presence of fibroids could also explain what you are dealing with. While it is not normal to experience this, it most definitely can be within the norm for people with hormone imbalances exemplified by irregular cycles and or the presence of fibroids. I am not sure what effect your former hormone prescription would have , but your body is probably trying to find balance and things might be a bit more atypical for a bit. If you doctor feels there is no concern in this matter, in general there probably isn't as something would have been picked up by the MRI etc that you had. Given some time and you will probably go back to normal. The other possibility not mentioned, is that things of this nature can be experienced prior menopause ( perimenopause). But the doctor can tell you that based on your bloodwork. It is more likely an adjustment by your body regarding the irregular period, fibroid and hormone supplements. In my situation it usually normalized after 8 weeks.
You might think of Water Fasting as that is suppose to help rid the body of fibroids and the like and can be very healing in other ways.
