The external use of Iodine was made popular by Dr. Lugol by putting 2 drops on the wrist twice per week.
This chemical Iodine is not natural and extremely toxic in small dose and that is the only reason to take it external, which I suggest it be put on the garden and not the human.
I have not experimented with the oil extract, but it looks good! I am still experimenting with the internal formulas which I believe are very safe/natural.
