Then again, the major difference between the late 60's/early 70's and now is that there was a draft back then. The draft is what got the college campuses inflamed with protests. Then came their moms and dads that joined in who became adamant about not having the USG take their children off to a thankless war. The draft would get the campuses riled up again with Iraq war and the distrusted government of today. Tweet
