Re: oral lichen planus

I also have had oral lichen planus for almost 2 years now. I have been to over 20 doctors, half of which didn't even know what it was and the other half told me that there is no cure. It is very painful and at one point I could only eat liquids and dropped 25 pounds in the process (the only upside, trust me!)

I have Hep C so lichen planus is one of the side effects. I would suggest you get checked for hepatitis first and then get on the cures suggested on the Hep C forum if you have it. I, too, am a newbie on this site and have just ordered everything out there for Hep C on the forum since I don't want to do the interferon/ribavirin treatment.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this deisease?
