It's for the electrolytes. But don't drink too many! Not more than 8, hehe! Due to leg cramps.
I also drink a lot of coconut or Watermelon juice when eating spicy/hot foods. This makes the taste of urine more manageable. Drink them before going to bed and the urine next morning will taste better.
Continue to mix those juices with fresh urine and the "clear urine" factor comes easily.
