I'm in the process of curing my herpes with diet.. but not the diet you mentioned above. I personally believe the virus can be killed. I have killed some of it. I'm working on killing all of it.
Currently, I'm on a 90% fruit diet. The 10% is salads and/or veggies that I have to eat when I'm with family. In addition, I take olive leaf pills (about 30 a day) and oil of oregano (about 8 drops a day). I've been taking OL and OOO for over a year. I just started the fruit-only about 6 weeks ago. In addition, I've been doing sitz baths (hot bath with H2O2, Epsom Salts , baking soda, then sitz bath to draw out toxins/mucous.)
Here's what I've noticed:
* HSV1 - I had a significant ob last week that travelled along the inside of my lips, then went away. I had a major ob on the bottom left corner of my mouth several months ago. I feel less and less throbbing up to that site - like it wants to come up/out but can't or won't. In general, my lips/mouth are feeling a lot better. Less and less viral activity. OBs can be felt by me, but are not visible to others. That stopped about 4 days ago.
* HSV2 - I had my period last week, and had 3 small obs. That was weird b/c I haven't had obs with my period for almost a year and I'm not eating anything that would feed the virus, so I guess that's an immune system thing. Those obs went away in about 4 days. The baths really helped with this.
So, IMO, the fruit diet is helping to clear out mucous (which I've read is one place where the virus likes to hide) and is raising my pH, which helps kill the virus in a more alkaline environment. The baths also help to raise pH.
While I may not being using the foods you described, I am working on a "cure through diet." Of course, I don't know how long it will take but I am really pleased with what I've seen in the approx 6 weeks I've been doing this.
I'm definitely interested in what others might have to say about this or add to the topic of healing with foods/herbs.
