I was recently at my dentist. He noticed some of gums in the back of my mouth are white. What does this mean. I had a tooth pulled from this space about 8 years ago and am considering having an implant, my dentist said that since i smoke and my gums are white in this area (no where else in my mouth) that i should have a biopsy.
I need some insight please. I am nervous that i may have cancer?
