Re: Starting Budwig Diet/Protocol!
Thanks again! We are a true believer in God in this family.
Now, to my wife. This will be a hard battle for her. I mean she's been drinking Coke/Pepsi for years. She drinks no water at all. I told her about this last night but she made a strange face at me because she hates water. She did go out & buy vitamin water but that stuff is packed with sugars. We are going to get a juicer indeed. We've been contemplating buying one for a couple weeks now. I want one for my diet plus now with her enlightened about her situationthen we both feel that would be a good investment.
Fortunately, she does love salads. This will be a plus heading in this direction. She's worries about the flaxseed deal interfering with her medicines. but I told her that it was OK. It's not gonna be easy just like with my health situation. It's a battle but we are people of faith & keep fighting. This illness of hers has nearly ended our marriage in the past but we've gotten over that hurdle. I now have an illness & even though my is more physical & hers is more mental it's no different. Bipolar is still an illness like other people being sick. I hope this realization of the things she's taking in will help her change things.
I will take the juicer we buy & make drinks for our son like smoothies because he loves slushies & snow cones. He really doesn't get much dairy products anyhow. As far as wheat, that's probably a no show in his system pretty much. The meds he's on now absolutely destroys his appetite. He's lost about 5 pounds in a year of so. He eats well during the evening after his meds wear off. He's on a med caled Focalin XR(10 mg twice daily). We are trying to get him on another medicine but he will not swallow the pill(Concerta). This is also hard to deal with so yeah we have a lot of stuff going on with illnesses & sickness. Thanks again for chatting!
