Went to the vet with my westi female 12 years old, as she suddenly got Piometra problem. We succeded to handle it with Antibiotics for now, but at the same time discovered she has enlargement of both adrenal glands (2,7 cm in diameter)I was told that enlargement is not due to the piometra problem. Does anybody have a clue what can be the reason for it. Though the blood test for Cushing disease has not been made, I am pretty sure she does not have Cushing as she does not have any of cushing symptoms. On the other hand she looks good and well as usual, we are on BARF feeding for seven years now and the only chemistry she gets besides Antibiotics for piometra, is Optimune solution for her conjuctivitis sicca.
