Actually I'm stuck with an alkalizing machine myself. I bought it right before I started this forum. I just didn't have all my facts first. It fine for using for mixing the drinks with but I don't think I would want to drink it plain all the time. Not sure what the outcome would be without balancing with acid minerals.

On the plus side, I still can use it just for filtering water and not use the alkalizing feature.
