Metallic taste in mouth

I am hoping that someone has a suggestion. I had some dental work done recently including composite resin fillings. I still have 5 metal fillings in other teeth. Now I have a nearly unbearable metallic taste in my mouth which I believe is the combination of both filling types.

I have an appointment to have 2 of the metal fillings removed, but I can't afford to have the other 3 removed until January. I can't live with this for 5 months.

Is there something else I can do to help with the metallic taste? Oil pulling helps a bit. Anything else? Thanks so much. Tweet
